What is missed call text back?

How fast does the text go out?
It goes out automatically once the call is missed. If you’d rather try calling back first, we can add a short delay.
Will the text come from my number?
To text back, your calls need to pass through a HighLevel phone number. You can move your existing number over, or keep it and forward missed calls to a new local number, in which case the texts come from that new number. We go through both options on the call.
Is it allowed to text people who called me?
US carriers require company text numbers to be registered (A2P 10DLC), and every message must let people opt out. We handle the registration with you and set up opt-out handling as part of setup.
Do I need an AI receptionist as well?
No. Missed call text back works on its own. You can add an AI receptionist later so calls get answered and booked too.
