Amplify Systems is built on HighLevel, so read this knowing which side we work on. We have kept to what each company publishes about itself, and we say where HubSpot is the better choice.
The short answer
- HubSpot suits companies with a marketing or sales team that want a widely used CRM, a free plan to start on, and a large app marketplace, and can budget for per-seat pricing as they grow.
- HighLevel suits agencies running many client accounts, and local or service companies that want calls, texts, booking, reviews and follow-up in one account at a flat plan price.

HubSpot prices by seat and by marketing contacts: the contacts you email or advertise to count toward a paid tier, while other contacts can be stored as non-marketing contacts. AI features draw on HubSpot Credits, which come with each paid plan and can be topped up. Sales Hub and Service Hub are priced separately.

When HubSpot is the better fit
- You want to start free. HubSpot's free plan is a real way to try a CRM without paying.
- You rely on other software. HubSpot says it connects with over 2,000 apps. If your company runs on a specific tool, check that it connects to whichever CRM you pick.
- You have a marketing team and a sales team. HubSpot's separate hubs let each team buy what it uses.
- You need reporting at scale. Larger teams with complex reporting should test HubSpot's higher plans against their own reports.
When HighLevel is the better fit
- You run an agency. One login, a sub-account per client, snapshots to copy a setup, and white-label options.
- Your company lives on the phone. Calls, texts, missed call text back, booking and review requests sit in one inbox, and an AI receptionist can run inside the same account.
- Your list is large but your budget is fixed. Contacts and users don't change the plan price; usage does.
- You want funnels, courses and booking in the CRM. They are part of every HighLevel plan.
Before you switch
- List the features you actually use each week. Price those, not the feature lists.
- Count your contacts, your users and your monthly texts and emails, then work out both prices on both pricing pages.
- Remember that workflows, templates and reports are rebuilt, not copied.
- Allow time for setup. On either platform, the build is most of the work. If you want help, see HighLevel setup, done with you.
